Apolline House Dental Practice
Welcome
Welcome to our practice. This website will give you some important information about the services we are pleased to offer our patients. Experience has shown that regular visits to the dentist are important to help maintain the health of your teeth and gums. This forms the basis of our philosophy and we recommend regular dental check-ups to avoid problems at a later date.
About Your Dentist
Here at the practice we understand the importance patients attach to seeing the same dentist each time they attend. Our patients are always under the care of their chosen dentist, and it will only be necessary to see an alternative dentist in case of emergencies or when your chosen dentist is unavailable. Such continuity of care provides an environment where trusting relationships and often friendships are forged between ourselves and our patients.
Modern Dental Techniques and Cosmetic/Aesthetic Dentistry
We understand how important it is to have an attractive, youthful smile. Modern cosmetic dentistry and hygiene treatments can dramatically improve the look and function of your teeth. We make good use of the latest techniques and materials to bring you life-like and long lasting results as gently and comfortably as possible. These techniques include, tooth whitening, veneers and tooth coloured fillings.

Did You Know?
There is a small Caribbean seashell which is commonly called the 'bleeding tooth'. The small nodules at the entrance to the shell are surrounded by a red colour so it's easy to see how the shell got its name.
New Patients
The practice is currently accepting new adult and child patients on a private only basis.
Languages Spoken
The languages spoken at the practice include English, Danish, some French and very little Italian, German, Spanish and Latin!
Dental Hygiene and Oral Health Education
Our hygienist, Jo Pollock, is an important member of the dental team, who works closely with the dentist in the treatment and prevention of gum disease. She is trained and qualified to practise the preventative aspects of dentistry including the scaling and polishing of all teeth, treatment of gum conditions and instruction in oral hygiene techniques. Our trained Oral Health Educator, Karen Simpson, provides further support for our patients who need extra encouragement to look after their teeth and gums.
