Dr Simon Crutchlow has a particular interest in periodontology (gum disease) and is currently training to be a specialist periodontist at Guy’s Hospital in London Bridge. Here, he manages complex cases
of periodontal (gum) disease and is taught by, and works alongside some of the leading specialists in
periodontology.
Simon initially graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012, achieving a distinction. During his time as an undergraduate, Simon was awarded multiple prizes for his clinical excellence. After graduating, Simon went on to work in a private practice in the City, while also obtaining his Membership to the prestigious Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In 2019, Simon completed his Master of Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable
Prosthodontics. This prestigious 4-year programme at King’s College London has been
running for over 20 years and he was fortunate to be their youngest graduate. Again, passing with
distinction.
Simon joined the Apolline Dental team in 2015. His priority is to put patients at ease and
to adopt a preventive and conservative approach. He has a strong commitment to training
and education, applying this knowledge and experience when caring for patients.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys any opportunity to be outdoors. He particularly enjoys
cycling, running and being out with his dog.
