When you are missing a tooth, eating and talking can become more challenging.

The space created by the missing tooth can create further problems and expense as your other teeth shift to fill the gap. A dental bridge is a common treatment for replacing missing teeth.

How does a bridge work?

A bridge is created by placing a crown over the natural teeth on either side of the gap. Then, an artificial tooth replacing the missing tooth or teeth, is permanently attached to the crowns.

What are the benefits of dental bridges?

  • Forestall remaining teeth from shifting out of position
  • Restore your ability to chew and/or speak properly
  • Maintains the shape of your mouth
  • Gives you back your natural smile
  • Restores your confidence

How do I maintain my bridge?

To prevent deterioration of the gums you’ll need to clean your bridge every day. After the procedure, we will instruct you on how to use a bridge needle, or special floss, to clean behind the false tooth to prevent bad breath and other potential oral health issues.
